"The 60-foot tower above Blue River brings reliable internet to the community. "This week, residents of Blue River got free Wi-Fi hotspots as part of a project to bring reliable high-speed internet to the community... The project is a collaboration of Onward Eugene, Elevate Technology Group, and the McKenzie School District. McKenzie district students and families were the first to receive nearly 100 Wi-Fi hotspots this week as part of the pilot phase of the project."

Elevate Technology Group, in collaboration with Onward Eugene and the McKenzie School District, brought reliable high-speed internet to the Blue River community through mobile hotspots and the installation of a 60-foot solar-powered telecommunications tower constructed above Blue River. At an event on Tuesday, these hotspots were distributed to nearly 100 McKenzie district students and families as part of a pilot project.
