Erich Schrottke

Erich grew up in Hawaii, enjoying the island weather and ocean sports. As a child, he developed a keen interest in tech, using his pocket change from his paperboy route to buy parts for his first computer build. He was exposed to the “pre-web” internet in the late 70's via an HP sponsored Explorer group and has been excited about tech, programming, gaming, and business workflows ever since. Erich has worked mostly in tech since the 80's in various roles, including: controller, delivery driver, operations management in warehousing/distribution, IT manager, web admin/development, and project engineer. Most recently, Erich left a seventeen-year stint as a System/Network Analyst at Xerox Hawaii as the lead analyst covering device and software solution deployment, setup, and support for major local accounts like Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii Pacific Health, State of Hawaii, County of Kauai, and the movie industry. Currently, Erich utilizes his innumerable skill sets and experience with different industries to optimize Elevate’s managed IT services and Help Desk.

Prior to COVID, Erich’s passion for craft beer meant he could be found bar-backing on weekends at a friend’s brew pub. Nowadays, he enjoys spending time in the Hawaiian sunshine swimming, hiking, paragliding, and surfing. On the occasional days when the weather isn’t as nice, he can be found indoors gaming and tinkering with his 3D printer.
